  • Rapid construction for straight facade elements
  • Light faceted (“formed”) curtain walls can be constructed with screw connections for the rows.
  • The whole can be finished on the outside with various decorative frames.
  • In addition to the traditional facades with horizontal and vertical protruding decorative frames, this series can be used to create a semi-structural facade where the outer part of the facade shows only vertically protruding roof covers.
  • Post width: 55 mm.

Aluprof MB SR 50

MB SR 50 system from Aluprof

  • The mullion-transom curtain wall
  • The system is intended for constructing and creating the light-weight curtain walls of hanging and filling type, as well as roofs, skylights and other structures.
  • The shape of mullions and transoms allows building aesthetic facades with visible narrow dividing lines, ensuring the structure durability and resistance at the same time. Additionally, the profiles have rounded external edges, what gives the so-called soft-line effect.
  • The large number of mullions and transoms available in this system guarantees the best possible aluminium use.
  • Application of the thermal break made of insulating material HPVC and the glazing gaskets made of EPDM allows achieving the appropriate class of thermal insulation for the transparent part, according to DIN 4108 RMG 2.1 to 1.
  • For the basic glazing, a value of the frame coefficient equals to Uf=2.21[W/(m2*K)], what allows obtaining the satisfactory values of temperature at the internal surface of the mullion ~10 °C, and limits the effect of the water steam out-dropping on the aluminium elements.
  • In facades based on the MB-SR50 system, various shapes of cover beads can be applied. The aesthetic variation of this is the so-called horizontal and vertical line, where the horizontal or vertical divisions are emphasized.

  • The MB-SR50N EFEKT system is designed to construct and make lightweight curtain walls of a hanging and filling type as well as roofs, skylights and other spatial constructions.
  • Due to the use of a special system for mounting panes to mullions and transoms, a smooth glass wall is visible from the outside, divided by the structure of vertical and horizontal lines 20 mm wide.
  • A façade made using this system provides excellent operational parameters, and thanks to the possibility of using two-chamber pane infills it allows very high thermal insulation to be achieved.
  • With regards to sections and accessories, the MB-SR50N EFEKT system is based on the MB-SR50N system, which allows the simple integration of these systems, simplification in the manufacturing process and a reduction in costs.
  • Panes used in the EFEKT system are special single- and two-chamber units with a glazing unit thickness range from 28 to 52 mm.
  • Panes are glued to each other using a special silicon construction binder to prevent the pane from breaking away and the joint from splitting, which in consequence could result in infill coming off the aluminium construction.
  • To assure the correct structure operation, it is necessary to make expansion joints, the main objective of which is to compensate the horizontal and vertical movements of the façade caused by the thermal expansion of aluminium profiles and deformations of the building’s supporting structure which the façade is mounted to.
  • To maintain correct operational parameters, the wall is sealed from the outside with a special PE (PP) insulation rope and weather-resistant silicon to ensure full rainfall water and air penetration tightness and excellent thermal insulation of the façade.
